easyJet was named the number one low-cost airline for business travellers in a recent survey for Company Barclaycard Travel, published in Business Survey magazine. Over a third of business travellers voted for easyJet as their preferred low-cost airline, with a massive 34% share of votes. The airline voted second received less than half of this, by getting 15% of all votes.
For the first time since the survey's start, two low-cost airlines have entered the overall ratings for business travel. easyJet also takes first place here, beating BMI to third place.
Business travel on low-cost carriers is increasingly popular among cost-conscious CEOs and those at boardroom level. The services offered by traditional airlines no longer match the cost associated with business travel.
