easyJet, the UK’s largest airline, today announced its plans to expands its services to Düsseldorf, with a new daily service from London Gatwick and daily service from Rome Fuminchino, starting on 2 and 1 February 2010, respectively.
The flights, available from £29.99 one way (£54.98 return inc taxes), are expected to be particularly popular with business passengers, however Düsseldorf, which is the capital of the North-Rhine Westphalia region with 17 million inhabitants, is also a modern city with a lively cultural scene and vibrant nightlife.
This winter easyJet will launch 29 new routes, connecting its bases across the UK and Europe with key business destinations such as Copenhagen and Munich as well as popular winter sun destinations including Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and Marrakech.
